Bill Cuthbert
After spending time in Research at James Capel & Co, Bill moved to Deutsche Bank. Initially managing the London Debt Trading unit and Treasury business, he became co-Head of Global Treasury and was responsible for establishing Deutsche/DMG’s Global Treasury network in the form in which it exists today.
Liquidity management was heavily influenced by the Bundesbank “Grundsatzbelastung” requirements.
At Rabobank, he again re-organised the Treasury area before taking responsibility for the Bank’s complete Investment Banking activities as responsible Member of the Managing Board. Working with colleagues, he was involved in the development of a detailed short and long term liquidity management framework for the Group.
After a period as Advisor to the Rabobank Executive Board, Bill joined securities finance specialists SFI (now Spitalfields Advisors) in January 2002.
In addition, to his advisory work with Spitalfields Advisors he is now Chairman of Data Explorers Limited a specialist in independent database management, performance benchmarking and risk management in respect of securities financing transactions.
Bill co-founded Liquidatum Ltd in November 2004.
